Rosh Nyine looks young even in its middle thirties, being slightly taller than the average and of athletic complexion. He has short black hair, usually covered by the hood of his cloak, which he wears over a Scholae Palatinae's officer uniform. Deep, dark green eyes show no emotion and usually wander around scanning his surroundings all the time, unless he's directly speaking to someone. He also has a short black beard, covering a scar on his left cheek.
Through a combination of preparing, studying, and analyzing, Rosh Nyine creates detailed battle plans and tries to think two steps ahead of the enemy. At times, however, this can lead to Rosh Nyine creating complicated schemes that can baffle less intelligent subordinates.
Rosh Nyine possesses a cold and completely uncaring demeanour. This will manifest itself in the fact that when push comes to shove,Rosh Nyine will just as soon leave a struggling ally behind rather than put themselves in danger. While this may ensure his survival, it often leaves him as an outcast amongst his peers.
Killing has never been a problem for Rosh Nyine; and he kind of enjoys it now, if he is honest. Killing's what Rosh Nyine does, and he likes what he does.
Rosh Nyine tells it like he sees it, when he thinks it; and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he says.
Rosh Nyine seems to get his thrills, perhaps sadistic ones at that, from toying with his opponents. Some are content with simply striking down or injuring their opponent, but that is not enough for Rosh Nyine. No, he wishes to see his enemy descend into madness or kneel before him as a blathering mess; or even better, as a fresh new servant with a muddled mind. The Puppeteer usually forsakes outright hurting and maiming his opponent and focuses on illusions, mind tricks, and other wicked means of destroying a person.
Rosh Nyine is utterly devoted to success in combat, no matter the mission, no matter the cost. He has spent his life building himself in the image of war, utilizing a dogmatic regimen that has lead him to a single-minded obsession with military success and requires intense physical and mental training. This training, however, has come at the cost of anything resembling empathy or concern for others - even his superiors and subordinates.
