Orson Krennic has the poise and presence of a man half his age. The creases and lines of his face, however, speak of his hard-fought rise through the Imperial ranks. His short, peaked hair is grey-brown, and his strong cheek bones and jaw are accentuated by thin, pursed lips and pale, shaven skin. Undoubtedly, Orson Krennic's strongest feature is his eyes, blue like sea ice and hard as granite.
With strong, sharp features, and an athletic build, Orson Krennic cuts quite the figure in his unusual white imperial military uniform, complete with his signature white cape and black leather gloves.
An extremely talented leader, Orson Krennic is renowned for his ability to identify true talent in his subordinates and peers, and use it to further his own personal aspirations. He is single-minded in his ability to focus his attention, and the attention of those under his command, to achieving success.
A maestro with his symphony, he is able to direct his subordinates to do his bidding, with the fruits of this collective labour proliferating his own social, political and military goals. Such goals are often at the expense of others, however. And Imperial officers rarely forget when slighted...
The silver-tongued Orson Krennic has a natural propensity for manipulation. To him, it is an art form that deserves careful attention. His superior intellect, which secured him his position in the Imperial 'Future Program', coupled with the training he received during the same, laid the groundwork for his future political, social and military machinations.
Ruthlessly ambitious, Orson Krennic is quick to identify a target and use them to his advantage. Often known to put many months, if not years, into manipulating certain individuals to undertake his bidding, he is committed and unwavering in his ability to persuade – but at a cost. He has become a victim of his own political games; having to maintain multiple falsehoods and facades requires a great amount of effort. he has no time or capacity to build lasting and/or meaningful relationships with personal or professional associates.
Orson Krennic always has an ulterior motive. Yet, his masterful duplicity means that even the most suspicious of individuals would be hard pressed to see his true intentions or find fault with his plans. But, for those who see through his well-constructed veil of deception, Orson Krennic has a deep-rooted and irrational hatred. He will obsessively focus his attention on undermining or outmanoeuvring those insightful few -- often to his detriment.
With a princely arrogance and a temper like a whipcrack, Orson Krennic is quick to rise when baited. He is so driven by his own ambition that anyone who questions him is considered an outright insult to his long-term aspirations.
Indiscriminate in the direction of his antipathy, Orson Krennic has been known to speak out against his superiors, undermining his accomplishments and ultimately damaging his own reputation.
As an accomplished military leader and tactician, Orson Krennic is renowned for his ability to effectively direct the troops within his charge. Whether they be his own personal guard, or garrisoned troops at an outlying base, Orson Krennic has an innate talent for making the right decision at the early stages of a skirmish, and tactically manoeuvring his men to secure the most advantageous strategic positions.
However, in his dogged pursuit of military victory, Orson Krennic will often overlook his immediate surroundings, leaving him exposed, often with very few of his own personal guard left for protection.
Whether it be a small firefight or all-out war, Orson Krennic always leads from the heart of the action. Whilst he may be a revered and experienced military tactician he is not one to shy away from the fighting. This holds great weight with his men, who respect his bravery. Whether it is a lack of trust or an obsession with control, Orson Krennic does not allow anyone to do his dirty work for him – unless it would suit him, of course.
This display of arrogance and bravery means that he is often exposed to dangerous and compromising situations that would have otherwise been avoidable had he acted in the way befitting an Imperial Officer.
