Smaller then the average Aleena, Pollus stands at 0.6m tall and weighs 11 kilograms. His bluish skin bears no visible scars or injuries. Under his specialized goggles, Pollus has large white eyes with orange pupils.
Pollus is physically identical to his twin, Castor, leading to great confusion to those that haven't been around the twins. Aside from the things they carry, they can be distinguished by their handedness. Pollus is left-handed to Castor's right-handedness.
Every legendary story seems to have at least one charming and optimistic character. If that's the case, then it only makes sense that Pollus Paratus has decided to be that person. After all, if everyone is too busy whining and groaning about the negatives, how will anyone ever reach the positive? True, Pollus Paratus's constant belief that things will get better can be terribly grating, especially to pessimists or those just level-headed enough to realize when things truly are going downhill, but Pollus Paratus's constant positive outlook can serve to sometimes spur others to action when it feels like the world just wants them to lay down and die.
Pollus Paratus always seems to underestimate the gravity of important situations or the difficulty of tasks by about a mile or ten.Pollus Paratus is a bit of a slacker, never really thinking things all the way through - and it usually comes back to bite him in a wildly comedic way. However, he also tends to not be deterred from things that would often scare others away.
Pollus Paratus doesn't do anything without first having a plan, and is constantly overheard advising others to always “think through their exits”. Every movement he makes—be it combative, manipulative or otherwise—is premeditated and thought out ahead of time. This foresight often places Pollus Paratus two steps ahead of his peers. However, when plans go awry, Pollus Paratus often has to first backtrack those same two steps to address the present, and that hesitation can often be line between success and failure in the heat of a situation.
Pollus has a close bond with his brother, Castor, and generally follows Castor's lead. He is very defensive of his brother, and anyone who makes fun of his size, obsession over technology, or tries to hurt him will find explosives hidden among their things if they're lucky. If there is one thing Pollus does not mess around about, it's his brother.
When it comes to other people however, Pollus possesses a detached and indifferent demeanour. This will manifest itself in the fact that when push comes to shove, he will just as soon leave a struggling ally behind to follow or protect Castor. While this may ensure their survival, it often leaves him as an outcast amongst his peers but admired by his brother.
Pollus Paratus works hard to maintain an image of fierce tenacity despite being of a smaller stature. To that extent, Pollus Paratus has learned to not take jabs about his stature offensively, but to instead burn them quietly as fuel for his inner spirit. The flame that is sparked as a result is controlled by Pollus Paratus's discipline of never overestimating his own abilities or those of his opponents. He has trained to fully utilize his size as an advantage when fighting larger opponents. He knows exactly how to leverage his weight to deliver the most effective take downs or maneuvers. The effort to maintain this image can be draining at times, and when outmatched or overwhelmed, Pollus Paratus becomes susceptible to a loss of spirit.
Pollus Paratus possesses a single minded drive for victory, and a deep-seated martyr complex. When presented with a chance to wade into battle versus overwhelming odds, Pollus Paratus does not hesitate, and instead rushes in, relying on skill, fate or chance to let him survive.
