Archean Tarentae will never go into any situation head-on. Whether it be combat or just strolling down the street, he will stick to the shadows or cloak himself in the Force. The less he is seen, the better. If he cannot sneak up on someone, then Archean Tarentae will not bother confronting them.

Through a combination of preparing, studying, and analyzing, Archean Tarentae creates detailed battle plans and tries to think two steps ahead of the enemy. At times, however, this can lead to Archean Tarentae creating complicated schemes that can baffle less intelligent subordinates.

While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Archean Tarentae's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.

Killing has never been a problem for Archean Tarentae; and he kind of enjoys it now, if he is honest. Killing's what Archean Tarentae does, and he likes what he does.

Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Archean Tarentae has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Archean Tarentae then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Archean Tarentae has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.

Archean has been without sight for many years as he was taken hostage and robbed of the ability early on in his life. This has made combat a different game for the Sith. After losing his eyesight the Human has adapted a combat style that uses physical awareness of his surroundings, his enemies and his own body's balance and placement. He cannot see but uses sounds to pinpoint the location of enemies. He compliments this with his skill in lightsaber combat. Ushing the Soresu and Shii Cho stylings, he has adapted this into his combat arsenal.

As he is blind, Archean is still prone to some sneak attacks and prepared blaster fire from many lined up enemies
