Shikyo has lived most of his life engaged in combat. He has seen his share of victory, defeat, and death. To better protect his comrades, he has made it his life's mission to study every aspect of warfare to prevent any harm coming to them. Most consider his knowledge and understanding of tactics to be at a genius level while others may seek to take advantage of his nature to protect the ones around him.

Shikyo Keibatsu has been raised as a member of a warrior family. This instills a sense of pride and honor in him that some would respect but most believe is a sign of weakness. While he is willing to stand strong against those he respects, he disregards others as useless. This underestimation of his opponents can blindside him.

While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Shikyo Keibatsu's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.

Shikyo Keibatsu tells it like he sees it, when he thinks it; and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he says.

Having studied under Grand Master Muz Ashen for several years, Shikyo Keibatsu has been placed to a higher standard than most, physically and mentally. He has been taught to adapt to most situations, to seek victory by any means, and to ensure the victory is permanent. This style of conditioning has taught him humility but has stripped him of fear against any opponent. He will face anyone, regardless of rank, disadvantage, or position with a strong conviction.

Shikyo enjoys a balanced fight. If he's training a Journeyman, he will prefer to use his blasters and swords but against anyone who is a Dark Jedi Knight or higher, he will always use his lightsabers. He sees this as the most effective means of learning and training from his opponents. However if the opponent does something he considers "dirty" or "disrespectful", Shikyo will hold nothing back and seek to completely destroy them.
