Dael Provect loves to play with computers and enjoys interacting with them more than he does with people. Some may call him antisocial - and they'd be right.

If it has an electronic circuit or gears,Dael Provect thinks he can fix it; everything from holopads to starships. To Dael Provect, even the most random assortment of scraps from a junkyard can be used to create something useful. he has a knack for fixing things that are broken, and his confidence in this ability borders on arrogance, and if he fails to fix something, he is prone to fits of anger and annoyance.

Dael Provect is very cheerful and happy, and always looks on the bright side of life. When chewing on life’s gristle, he doesn't grumble, but gives a whistle. He always hopes for the best, and enjoys laughing, smiling, dancing or singing. This unending optimism often improves the morale and spirit of everyone around him, and Dael Provect is always quick with a smile or a joke, even when drawing his terminal breath. This same exuberance can also be tiring to more jaded curmudgeons.

Dael Provect is a lateral thinker, and when he encounters problems or dilemmas, he is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Dael Provect to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Dael Provect can typically explain and lead others through his plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust him outside thinking.

While Dael Provect avoids combat whenever possible, he has no qualms working with technology under the stress and pressure of combat. Dael Provect has trained himself to keep calm and focus intently on Slicing even while taking blaster fire from cover or when placed under time constraints. In truth, Dael Provect almost works better when under duress, and actually needs motivation, typically, when Slicing.

Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Dael Provect takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario he might expect to encounter. Dael Provect tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and he often finds himself at a loss in situations that go beyond what he could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, his perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.
