Telaris is a tall, middle-aged human. Despite being quite handsome for an average human, few would recognize he hails from the Hapan world of Terephon as his family is lacking many of the characteristic perfection of Hapans, perhaps indication of a non-Hapan ancestry. He has dusky brown hair and brown eyes, and a trimmed, athletic build.
Telaris has earned himself a reputation as a diplomat of sorts, and he has built an impressive list of connections across the galaxy. Though he had been extremely successful in leading various negotiations and summits, he wasn't so effective back in his home sector of Hapes, where he is no longer welcome and suspicion has culminated in a number of investigations into his biological family.
Telaris is an adopted son of the Cantor family, found as an orphan on Aurora Prime. He has always felt the need to prove himself to his adopted family, which is a large part of what drove him to Taldryan in the first place and likely drives some of his reckless behavior. As one of the Taldrya, he holds Taldryan in great esteem and feels the need to protect and aid the House and its members whenever he is able.
Telaris is cocky enough to think he knows best in almost every situation, an often dangerous attitude to have (even for a Prophet). Though Telaris rarely disobeys direct orders from a superior he respects, he will find ways to skirt or bend rules in order to accomplish what he views as the most important objectives for a mission.
Since abandoning his rage in the Hapes Cluster, Telaris has begun to walk a delicate line between Light and Dark. He has distanced himself somewhat from the teachings of the Dark Council. He feels that compassion is a form of passion and thus an extension of the Sith Code, which he feels he still adheres too.
Telaris "Mav" Taldrya Cantor doesn't like to kill people; instead he chooses to injure his opponent until that person is unable to fight back or is otherwise incapacitated.
Though he is more than capable of dispatching foes in a face to face confrontation, Telaris prefers to weaken opponents before he strikes, or avoid a direct confrontation altogether. He makes extensive use of Force Illusion and Mind Trick in combat, confusing enemies with illusions, projections, and tricks.
