Teikhos is tall and lean, with long, wavy, very dark blue hair, indigo eyes, and the red skin typical of Zeltrons. He usually sports an impish grin and a twinkle in his eye. He generally wears his hair tied back; if he doesn't, it tends to all end up in his face regardless of how many times he attempts to tuck it behind his ears. His face is long and lean, with cheekbones you could cut glass on. He keeps clean-shaven religiously as his facial hair grows in thin and patchy.
Teikhos takes pains to ensure an immaculate appearance at almost all times, and his hair, skin, and nails are all pampered and tidy.
A follower of the Living Force, Teikhos has little patience for navel gazing. He strongly believes in intervening to do good regardless of the personal consequences. Indeed, he has an almost pathological need to make a difference in the lives of others. While this is noble on the face of it, this habit stems from Teikhos' deep-seated to impress others. Although this frequently results in successful acts of genuine heroism, it may only be a matter of time before he gets himself or someone else killed in a reckless attempt to save the day.
For centuries, Jedi eschewed the flashy and material. They wore plain, monochromatic robes, ate simple, nutritious food, and lived lives of humility. Teikhos does not. Instead, he fully embraces his Zeltron nature and attempts to imbue his every action with the epitome of flash and style. His robes are well tailored and dramatic, his meals sumptuous, his companions lovely. Because of this, he has trouble flying below the radar. Nevertheless, that ladies appreciate it — and that's what it's all about, right?
Idle Zeltrons do the devil's work. Having spent his youth getting into trouble, Teikhos seems dedicated to spending the rest of his life the same way. He's an adrenaline junky and constantly seeks out opportunities for adventure. Although he attempts to be a team player and a responsible Jedi, his thrill-seeking behavior and glory hounding tend to derail missions and result in dangerous, albeit climactic and exciting, duels with The Bad Guy.
Teikhos share a (usually) mutual admiration for the fairer sex. He falls all over himself in his attempts to charm, impress, or woo any female humanoid he encounters. How chivalrous or prurient his motivations are depends heavily on the attractiveness and attentiveness of said female, but there are almost always elements of both. He's prone to over the top gestures of chivalry such as bowing and kissing hands, which he occasionally — and unsuccessfully — tries to play off as ironic. Although his zealous dedication to romance tends to get him into trouble, he is more a gentleman than a scoundrel at heart and scrupulously avoids taking advantage of intoxication or Mind Trick to lure in partners who might otherwise turn him down. Teikhos usually has enough sense to avoid succumbing to women who are attempting to kill him.
Despite his flippant attitude, Teikhos takes many aspects of the Jedi teachings very seriously. Whenever possible, he attempts to preserve life. He aims to inflict superficial wounds, escalating only as necessary to end the fight. He rarely kills an opponent that could be merely injured, and will take pains to make sure any survivors of the battle end up in a safe location, or at least outside of any immediate danger.
Lightsaber combat is kinda like making love. It's not always what you do, but what you say. Any fool Jedi can swing a hot piece of plasma around and hope to cut something. But the pros? They know just when to cut their opponent with an insult — one that catches 'em off guard. You see, kid, Teikhos' wit is twice as sharp as his saber. Whenever possible, Teikhos attempts to engage in witty banter with his opponent, ranging from insults to jokes to incessant flirting. While this can infuriate, confuse, or otherwise distract an opponent, pausing to deliver a clever remark tends to leave an opening that a disciplined opponent could exploit.
