Caius Sylvian can be very protective, and when any of his friends are being bullied or threatened, he will step in to defend them. This can gets Caius Sylvian in trouble when he refuses to back down during these exchanges, and sometimes has trouble discerning between friendly teasing and intentional insults. However, because of this fierce loyalty, his friends know that no matter what, Caius Sylvian will be there for them.

Through a combination of preparing, studying, and analyzing, Caius Sylvian creates detailed battle plans and tries to think two steps ahead of the enemy. At times, however, this can lead to Caius Sylvian creating complicated schemes that can baffle less intelligent subordinates.

Caius Sylvian tells it like he sees it, when he thinks it; and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he says.

Caius Sylvian likes to engage in detailed discussions and think through situations carefully, often collaborating with others to seek their opinions before deciding on the best course of action. While this often ensures Caius Sylvian is more fair and well-respected amongst his peers, sometimes others do not have time to discuss this in a committee.

Caius Sylvian vastly prefers ranged combat, taking every opportunity to use skills and Force Powers to disengage from melee and instead fight at range, so much so that he has become competent at staying out of melee in the first place.

Caius Sylvian wears out his opponents through use of the Force, agility, and evasion. Once he has sufficiently tired his foes through the Force, physical, or mental assault, he quickly tries to find a means of cleanly and swiftly dispatching them - usually resulting in a somewhat risky all-or-nothing attempt at a deathblow.
