Saba Astor has both been there and done that. he thinks he has seen every imaginable scenario of war and battle and survived it all, and that nothing can phase him. The daily grind has almost become too intolerable for Saba Astor and they are prone to lash out at anyone who attempts to coerce them into another adventure.

Saba Astor can be very protective, and when any of his friends are being bullied or threatened, he will step in to defend them. This can gets Saba Astor in trouble when he refuses to back down during these exchanges, and sometimes has trouble discerning between friendly teasing and intentional insults. However, because of this fierce loyalty, his friends know that no matter what, Saba Astor will be there for them.

Saba Astor tells it like he sees it, when he thinks it; and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he says.

Saba Astor has a military background, and draws upon his experience to tackle the obstacles in his life. This makes him decisive, efficient, and fearless; provides him with a strong sense of duty and strength; which tends to influence his ability to fight and lead. However, a rigid mind is less compassionate towards individuals and less imaginative, and Saba Astor sometimes risks appearing callous, relatable, or incapable of compromising.

Born with an intractable will and limitless courage, Saba Astor will stand in the face of insurmountable odds and never retreat. Despite the fact that such acts of heedless bravery are inspiring and will sometimes result in victories worthy of song, just as often they result in his allies getting wounded or killed.

Saba Astor vastly prefers ranged combat, taking every opportunity to use skills and Force Powers to disengage from melee and instead fight at range, so much so that he has become competent at staying out of melee in the first place.
