Carissus doesn't like to work in groups or teams and feels most comfortable on his own. Carissus sticks to himself, sets his own pace, and doesn't share feelings or emotions with others. While the Lone Wolf can get things done quietly and efficiently, he tends to be emotionally cut off and has problems relating to his comrades.

Despite whatever all his other characteristics may convey, Carissus retains the air of a person that is confident, if not arrogant. Minor (and often, major) things in his body language - his walk, his stance, his expressions - reveal these feelings. At times, it seems he borders upon narcissism, especially judging from how much he enjoys his own company.

While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Carissus's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.

Carissus tells it like he sees it, when he thinks it; and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he says.

Born with an intractable will and limitless courage, Carissus will stand in the face of insurmountable odds and never retreat. Despite the fact that such acts of heedless bravery are inspiring and will sometimes result in victories worthy of song, just as often they result in his allies getting wounded or killed.

Carissus possesses a single minded drive for victory, and a deep-seated martyr complex. When presented with a chance to wade into battle versus overwhelming odds, Carissus does not hesitate, and instead rushes in, relying on skill, fate or chance to let him survive.
