While Edric will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward his best effort, it’s still just a job. Edric's true loyalties lie to his friends, and through thick and thin,he will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Edric's trust, putting him at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust his motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Edric, though, because loyalty to his friends is not something credits can buy.

Edric can be very protective, and when any of his friends are being bullied or threatened, he will step in to defend them. This can gets Edric in trouble when he refuses to back down during these exchanges, and sometimes has trouble discerning between friendly teasing and intentional insults. However, because of this fierce loyalty, his friends know that no matter what, Edric will be there for them.

Despite his line of work, Edric still sees himself as a refined gentleman and will often put on a show of being haughty and arrogant to those he does not know. Edric only lets the mask slip to show his more laid back nature to those he trusts. To those he dislikes, he will actually become even more insufferable as taunts and quips without any regard for who or what he might be offending.

Despite an aversion for physical confrontation, Edric has a quick-witted and sharp sense of humour, and never passes up the opportunity to make a quip or jibe about his situation, or to taunt his enemies. While some find Edric to be funny and likeable, others do not always respond so warmly, and occasionally Edric will get himself into more trouble than he thought when someone takes a joke the wrong way.

Edric wears out his opponents through use of the Force, agility, and evasion. Once he has sufficiently tired his foes through the Force, physical, or mental assault, he quickly tries to find a means of cleanly and swiftly dispatching them - usually resulting in a somewhat risky all-or-nothing attempt at a deathblow.

Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Edric has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Edric then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Edric has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
