Sanjuro Keibatsu is the hybrid result of a Zabrak mother and a Human father. He greatly favors his father's side of the family, resembling him to a great degree. Sanjuro wears his dark brown hair long and loose, framing pronounced cheekbones, pale skin and violet eyes. Hidden beneath his hair are miniature vestigial horns, passed down from his mother. Built athletically, his back is marked with rather intense scarring, only partially obscured by tattoos of his family's history.
Sanjuro has a quick wit and a fast tongue when he wants to. Doling out scalding insults and brutally quips, his jokes often go well beyond insensitive gallows humor, earning him the nickname of 'Sledge'. With nothing held as sacred, his mouth can get him into trouble with those who mistake his joking as misanthropy or sacrilege. Combined with his love for combat, Sanjuro has often found himself laughing at someone through the glow of his lightsaber blade.
Sanjuro has taken advantage of his close resemblance to his father on more than one occasion, usually in tactical situations to aid his clan. Playing up the resemblance with carefully chosen robes, most dare not get close enough to notice the differences between Sanjuro and his father. The vast majority of combatants would actively seek to avoid confronting the Lion of Tarthos on the battlefield, not all would run... and those that don't are particularly dangerous.
The son of a Nightsister and a Sith Lord, Sanjuro's pedigree expects greatness from him. While he is proud of the accomplishments of his family, he is often anxious about living up to those expectations. Feeling as though he has something to prove, he will sometimes push himself too hard, requiring long amounts of downtime away from others to recharge himself.
Sanjuro is considerably younger than he looks, the result of a rough early life, years of war, and some artificial assistance from Macron's alchemic processes. Given a lack of a proper childhood, Sanjuro will sometimes get distracted by simple and often sophomoric pleasures, leaving people around him confused and wondering.
Sanjuro's school was the battlefield, and his teachers were the Keibatsu. Fighting in wars constantly alongside his family and friends, Sanjuro is most comfortable fighting with an ally at his side. Using years of experience and telepathic communication, Sanjuro's style is built around coordination and seamless cooperation with his fellows, making him exceptionally dangerous in team-based situations, but far less comfortable in one on one situations.
The seed doesn't fall far from the tree. Seeking to emulate his much more famous duelist father, Sanjuro all but obsesses over his skill with a lightsaber. Constantly consulting ancient manuscripts, holovids of duels, and the like only serve to whet his appetite, driving the young Keibatsu into combat at the slightest of provocation with some measure of glee at the prospect of learning something. Due to this, Sanjuro absolutely refuses to even consider using a ranged weapon in combat.
