The character is extremely competitive and strives to become the best at every task they are given. The benefit of this cutthroat approach to life and work is that they will always give 100%, pushing themself to their physical or mental limits to overcome any task. However, The character’s overzealous ambition makes them insufferable to all but the most patient of companions, making it difficult to make friends while they either proves successful or utterly fails at being the best.

While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, The character's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. They become focused and quiet, with their smile replaced with a look of grim determination.

The character is no greenhorn when it comes to dealing with those who wish them ill. At some point, they manage to cross the wrong people, and now they've got a mark on their hide for it. While such experiences have hardened them for adrenaline-filled moments of evading those who seek to make them their quarry, they can never be quite sure if they are truly safe, for promises of wealth or power can turn even the most seemingly stalwart of allies to enemies with knives poised at their back.

The character always seems to underestimate the gravity of important situations or the difficulty of tasks by about a mile or ten.The character is a bit of a slacker, never really thinking things all the way through - and it usually comes back to bite them in a wildly comedic way. However, they also tend to not be deterred from things that would often scare others away.

The character grew up never knowing their family. They were sold into slavery very young, and was put to work almost immediately. However, due to their age, The character bounced from owner to owner until they became a teenager. Having to endure horrible treatment during this time in their life, The character has lingering trust issues while carrying an absolute hatred toward slavers. If confronted with acts of slavery, they will most likely lash out in some way, regardless of it compromises their objective.

Through a mixture of cocksure courage and arrogant swagger, The character will not back down from a challenge when called out, even if the wiser path is to walk away or let it go. The character's personality does tend to rub a lot of people the wrong way, which generally puts them into situations that escalate quickly to violence. While they may not be the one to always start a fight, they will always see it through to it’s conclusion. Some have tried to play a challenge off as idle banter, but when The character initiates or accepts a challenge, they do not hold back.

The character's passion for technology extends beyond his talent with Slicing. They truly believe that wars can be won with technology, not soldiers, and will always try to avoid direct combat if they can afford it. Instead, they prefer to deploy clever traps with Explosives, or turn technology against others as a weapon. The character would rather overload a circuit breaker to shock a guard into submission than to test his luck with his hands or a blaster. If removed from technology or their gadgets, however, The character can easily be overwhelmed. Fortunately, they have no qualms with throwing a smoke grenade down and running for dear life.

The character looks at any problem they come across and instead of immediately complaining about it sets out to figuring out a solution. They will work tirelessly to find workarounds or a solution, but can often overthink the resolution and come up with a "fix" that is actually more complex than needed. This driven approach to fixing problems can be helpful at times but grating at others when a simple "restart" would have accomplished the task quicker than re-programming the entire device.

If it has an electronic circuit or gears,The character thinks they can fix it; everything from holopads to starships. To The character, even the most random assortment of scraps from a junkyard can be used to create something useful. they has a knack for fixing things that are broken, and their confidence in this ability borders on arrogance, and if they fail to fix something, they are prone to fits of anger and annoyance.

The character doesn't like to work in groups or teams and feels most comfortable on their own. The character sticks to themself, sets their own pace, and doesn't share feelings or emotions with others. While the Lone Wolf can get things done quietly and efficiently, they tend to be emotionally cut off and has problems relating to their comrades.

When The character gets in trouble, they find no fault in bravely turning tail and getting the hell out of dodge. Obviously, this means that they tend to survive even the most deadly encounters... but the same can't always be said for their compatriots. This fact hasn't exactly made them the most popular among their peers, but hey, at least The character isn't dead yet.

The character tells it like they see it, when they think it; and they don't try to sugar coat what they say.

In truth, The character almost works better when under duress, and actually needs motivation, typically, when Slicing.

The character has both been there and done that. they thinks they have seen every imaginable scenario of war and battle and survived it all, and that nothing can phase them. The daily grind has almost become too intolerable for The character and they are prone to lash out at anyone who attempts to coerce them into another adventure.

Someone in The character’s past was killed and they have vowed to avenge their death. Should the object of their vengeance be discovered, they are likely to to do whatever they can to exact revenge, no matter the cost.

The character does not charge a high price because they have to pay for a life of luxury; they charge a high price because they know that they are the best in the game and worth the credits. Those who do not know The character will feel they are gouging them, but those who have seen them in action know that they always deliver. This bravado follows The character around and builds on the success of completed jobs and can be off-putting to other Mercenaries that will try and lash back by pointing out their failures.

The character can be very protective, and when any of their friends are being bullied or threatened, they will step in to defend them. This can gets The character in trouble when they refuse to back down during these exchanges, and sometimes has trouble discerning between friendly teasing and intentional insults. However, because of this fierce loyalty, their friends know that no matter what, The character will be there for them.

Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. The character takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario they might expect to encounter. The character tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and they often find themself at a loss in situations that go beyond what they could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, their perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.

The character's skills as a medic are not just limited to holo-books and lectures. They has read up and practiced a handful of experimental treatments while inventing a few home remedies of their own. This allows The character to work outside the box in less than ideal situations, and can lead to them solving mysteries other trained medics might struggle with. This, of course, comes with its own string of failures, as nothing is ever perfect. That, and some of the more established professionals in the field often doubt or question The character's alternative practices. They typically brush them off in favor of doing everything they can to help a patient, but does quietly seek recognition for accomplishments as a healer.
