Competition: The Heart Of It All

Finished
The Heart Of It All

Every character has something that to them means more than they know. Be it a person, an object or a place. This competition is based around that thing and how your character reacts to a situation that arises surrounding it. I have provided two potential prompts for this competition, your task is to pick one and write a story.

Prompts:

1) Your character has just received the news that their closest friend/ally has been kidnapped. Describe how your character reacts, what do they do. If they are going to rescue the person how do they do it?

2) An item of significant important to your character has just been destroyed by your best friend. How does your character react? Was it on purpose, an accident. Will your character flip out and fight your friend, try and fix the object or go on some weird whack adventure to find a replacement?

The fiction will be no less than 500 words and it will be graded based on voice fiction rubric,
