The reconnaissance is over, and now it's time to wipe out Corvus Tanian's settlement before it starts. His band consists of six heavily armed and very experienced mercenary soldiers. His ship, the Bantha, is a YT class ship which has been heavily modified and built into the terrain as a makeshift base of operations. It is surrounded by mobile durasteel plate walls reinforced with timber and stone gathered from the surroundings. The group is not going to be easy to root out, but Scion has authorized House Mortis to use force to wipe them out.

For this competition, write the story of how your character takes part in the battle against Tanian's forces. Do you take them on alone or with a team? Do you use stealth or overwhelming firepower? Do you try to capture and interrogate or just burn them all? The choice is yours.

Grading will be done using the standard fiction rubric. Entries should be at least 500 words, submitted through the website using any popular word processing format but please do not just submit a link to a Google Doc.
