It's DD's monthly fiction competiton!
This month's prompt comes with a twist. You have been exploring a previously uncharted world and during a pass over of a quadrant of the world your craft develops issues forcing you to crash land in the jungle/tundra/desert!
You are the only survivor.
You have enough supplies for about two days but after that you are on your own. Nearby during your exploring of the immediate area you come across a village hidden within the trees/caves. You don't know who stays here, what they are like or how they will react to your presence but without any sign of help from elsewhere they may be your only hope of getting to safety and back to your comrades.
What do you so? How do you react? How do You approach and deal with the villagers who may or may not be your salvation?
In no less than 500 words and following the voice grading rubric tell the story of your characters struggle for survival and will to survive. Will you open diplomacy these people or do things much much worse?
