A “Personality Matrix” is a fantastic tool for the development of a character. Too often do we see a two dimensional character, without much personality to speak of. This tool helps us to look past a character’s exterior and truly bring them to life. Good characters stir emotions in the reader, be they love or hate. It entices them to read the next page and the one after that as they root for, or against, these characters. The Matrix helps you map this personality and, on a deeper level, answers why your character acts or reacts in a certain way.

Only one Personality Matrix per entry, reflecting the participant's main character. Use of adjectives to describe personality traits. No phrases, no paragraphs. Submit as a downloadable file (pdf, xlsx) or as a link to a google sheet.
