For many of us, writing our own characters has become next to second nature. Even for those that are still learning the ins and outs of their own portrayals, it is often an introverted perspective taken towards it.

Sometimes, we have to look back and rethink the paths we have walked before. It can be prudent to take it on from another perspective, and see how others see us.

Prompt: Take a fiction you have written in the past, either for a competition or otherwise, that you can provide a link for. This link must be included with your submission. Re-write the story from the perspective of a side character instead of from the perspective of your own character.

How to submit: Write a fiction at least 500 words in length. No maximum. Preferred submission format is pdf. Anything in a Google Doc must be exported as a pdf for submission.

How it will be graded: Grading will be based on the Fiction Rubric.
