Seemingly bleak and stark,
Days decreasing to a fading light.

Though cold and dark, there is beauty unseen.
For through the night, the stars alight,
In dazzling colors of red and green.
Veiled in shimmering ice, the world swept clean.

White and cold the world may be,
Through eyes unopened by its beauty.
For icy wonders those who see,

It's cold
There's snow
And Christmas lights.
