Members of the Brotherhood have a nasty habit of disappearing or vanishing whenever it pleases them. Some show up after a matter of time or are reported as missing in action. Most of these M.I.A.s are not worth the interest of higher placed members. So it is quite rare and exceptional if higher placed members start an investigation on the whereabouts of a missing member. Gaidal Dupar is missing. He was on a secret mission with a fellowship to Korriban. The man who gave him the order was none else than his master, Godo Nurok. Gaidal was supposed to find information about Darth Revan and in case he would find a relic, return it to his master. He should have been back by now, but his shuttle Dark Phoenix hasnt been checking in yet. The last contact anyone had with the missing Guardian, was Godo Nurok, who wanted to know if the mission was a success. No sign of Dupar was detected ever since he left Korriban. It seemed like he vanished in thin air. But someone found a clue in the shadows. DC member Korras went to the Library of Clan Plagueis to find a certain book about Krath magic when he saw a small trace of blood on the chair Gaidal Dupar used to sit in. A part of the chair was cut off by a lightsaber, according to the burnt marks. Korras investigated the crime scene more closely and found the Rayal Guard helmet of the young Guardian with his red cloak under the chair and table. It looked like he was reading a book when he was attacked by surprise. All the books were destroyed in the fight and so the table looked like a mess. Korras was shocked by his findings and brought the tragic news, that the proud and promising was overwhelmed by a sneak attack from behind, to Godo Nurok personally. Nurok was furious by the act of treason that caused him to lose his precious pupil. Godo assembled a small investigation team of three people that had full jurisdiction to investigate the library on Byfrost and take samples from the crime scene. This team from Clan Plagueis had to find Dupar because of the knowledge he gathered on Korriban. Meanwhile Korras left Byfrost and was on his way back to Antei with his vessel Vaevictis. He was worried with these developments and could not figure out by himself why someone would harm Gaidal. Korras decided to form an investigation team as well, but this had to be unofficial. It fell under the jurisdiction of the Dark Council, but remained unknown to Godo and the first team. The order Korras gave them was quite the same though: find information about the whereabouts of his dearest friend Gaidal Dupar. Three other members from Plagueis were assigned and mobilised to search for clues on Korriban, because the DC member already took samples from the original crime scene. The second team needed to reconstruct the journey of Dupar back to Byfrost. A lot of questions came up in the process. What happened to Gaidal Dupar? Why did someone harm him? Where is he now? And what kind of information did he have with him? The teams needed to find answers and reasonable explanations.
