You wake up on a strange looking ship. It appears that you are in a cargo hold and that you are lying on the deck. You don't have your weapons on you. You look up at the catwalk and a man wearing a brown duster jacket looks down at you. He says "Welcome to the Serenity, best ship in the 'verse I reckon." You need to figure out how you got to where you are and figure out a way to get back. You must earn the trust of the crew of this Firefly class ship and get them to assist you in getting home.

This is a for fun fiction competition and I have been playing with this idea for a while. All submissions will be graded using the Fiction Writing Grading Rubric. The fiction must be a minimum of 1000 words and the maximum is well, go crazy my Firefly friends! The one with the best overall fiction will be crowned Hero of the 'Verse(unofficially of course) May the best one in the 'Verse win.
