Sepros is a forest world, covered in large trees akin to the the grand wroshyr’s of Kashyyyk. With the rains and the predators that call the jungles home, it is a dangerous place outside of the areas occupied by Naga Sadow. Most dangerous on the planet are the shadowlands.

Following a malfunction and a strike by a bolt of lightning, the shuttle you found yourself in has crashed into the jungles. Pulling yourself from the wreckage, shaken by relatively uninjured, you are unable to find your normal gear, finding a vibroknife and a canteen with only a half liter of water.

Tell the story of how you make your way to the Temple of Blood to safety. Describe why were you were sent out here, what terrors might you face, and your eventual escape from the jungles.

Entries must be at least 500 words and will be judged according to the Voice’s fiction rubric. Any fiction writing platform is allowed, as long as it can be opened with Google Docs or Microsoft Word.

The file must be uploaded to the website. Google Doc links will not be accepted.

Clusters of ice will be given based on Voice guidelines and placement will be determined using the Voice's Fiction Rubric. 1st place will award 30 points, 2nd place will award 20 points and third place will award 10 points.
