Predators from the planet of Horun IV, the Bloodback (scientific name: Vaerun) dwell in the highlands and crags of their home world. Though opportunistic and solitary in nature, there exists a semblance of community and structure among them. There is no struggle for territory and they seem willing to co-exist so long as there are sufficient food sources in their vicinity. Some Bloodbacks have shown cannibalistic behavior, hunting their own, while others have been observed working as a unit to take down larger prey. They are surprising, unpredictable, and incredibly voracious creatures. Be wary and watch your back if you find yourself in tall grass out in Bloodback country. They will use their red mane as camouflage as they stalk you through grass of the same color.
