Our strike forces have successfully infiltrated the anchorage and boarded the two Star Destroyers they were tasked with stealing only to find a trap. The destroyers are decoys, stripped for parts with little functioning beyond life support. Cut off from the rest of the Clans you and your group must survive these enemy infested warships, with the ultimate goal of escaping the trap and rejoining the allied forces. How does your team figure out it's a trap? What's their plan for escaping? What resistance do they meet along the way? It's a fight for survival; will you succeed, or becomes martyrs in trying?

This is not a canon runon, so don’t feel tied down by the Report Fiction. Entertain us with your self contained stories. It is heavily encouraged that at least one member of both Clans are in every participating group, but it is not a requirement.

Rules

This is for a cooperative event between Clan Odan-Urr and Clan Taldryan. Please note, due to event limitations, this event is listed as "Entire DJB," but is only open to the Clans listed. All entries from outside these two clans will be disqualified and receive no participation credit.

• Each post must be a minimum of 250 words and each member participating must have a minimum of two posts to place at the end of the competition. No back-to-back posting will be allowed.

• Entries must be posted in the Run-On section of discourse with a thread heading of [Desperate Measures] then a creative (but club appropriate) team name. The opening post of each thread must list all the members of the team by name, PIN and Clan.

• Posts can be edited so long as there are no posts after it. Once someone else has posted in the same thread, no edits to the earlier post are allowed.

• This competition will be judged by the Voice's run-on fiction grading rubric.

• Clusters of Ice will also be awarded for qualifying posts based on Voice guidelines
