Although warships and armies play a critical role in the operation, individual heroism will be the key to our success. You have been assigned to either the terrestrial operation to shut down the planetary defenses, or to the space operation to ensure that friendly forces can get away safely. Write a fiction entry based on one of the following prompts:

• You are amongst the vanguard boarding parties - You and allied forces have been tasked with taking the main control center of the planet side anchorage to shut down its defenses. Describe you and your allies struggle as you proceed to take the objective.

• The space battle in orbit over planet Edrien has begun! Describe the assault on Golan Space station and the battle for the control of the skies from your character’s perspective.

Rules

This is for a cooperative event between Clan Odan-Urr and Clan Taldryan. Please note, due to event limitations, this event is listed as "Entire DJB," but is only open to the Clans listed. All entries from outside these two clans will be disqualified and receive no participation credit.

• Entries must be at least 500 words and will be graded using the Voice fiction rubric.

• Entries will be accepted in any standard word processing format (.doc, .pdf, etc.)

• Links to Google Docs will not be accepted.
