Whilst fighting aboard an enemy vessel, a devastating crash has left a puncture in the hull of the ship, you were lucky enough to not be pulled into the abyss like many friends and foes alike, but oxygen is draining rapidly. Write a fiction entailing your characters working together and escaping the lethal zone of the ship. Do they continue fighting or stop to help others around them?

Rules

• This is for a cooperative event between Clan Odan-Urr and Clan Taldryan. Please note, due to event limitations, this event is listed as "Entire DJB," but is only open to the Clans listed. All entries from outside these two clans will be disqualified and receive no participation credit.

• This is a co-op fiction, meaning that two and only two members must collaborate to create an entry. Both members must sign up here. If you already have a partner, indicate that on the form; otherwise, we will pair you with another member.

• Entries must be posted on Discourse under the fiction section with "COU-TAL Team Fiction" in the thread title. Each participant must write at least one post and contribute at least 500 words. There is no upper limit to the word count or number of posts, but each post should be a minimum of 250 words. Any team that does not meet these requirements will be disqualified. Remember, this is a cooperative effort so try to split the posts as evenly as you can.

• Both members of the team must submit to the competition with the names and PINs of both authors and a link to the Discourse thread where their entry is posted.

• Clusters of Ice will be awarded per the Voice guidelines for coop fiction with each participant receiving appropriate CIs based on their individual word counts, but entries will be graded as a whole using the Fiction Rubric.

• Teams will be scored and placed together.
