We know the typical Star Wars story. The Rebels are the good guys fighting for freedom and democracy and the Imperials are the bad guys fighting for order and fascism. This has been placed into the Brotherhood fictions for the most part as well. The Rebels are the Lotus and the Imperials are the Inquisitiorious. However, all is not what it seems to be.
Your job is to write a fiction where the Inquisitorious turns out to be the protagonists and the Lotus turns out to be the antagonists. Whether their opinions on freedom or democracy change are irrelevant. What would matter is that in the story, the character your side would be on would change perspectives. Find the good in the bad and the bad in the good. The setting, people, places, etc. are up to you, but your fiction must be framed in the above way to win. A winning fiction won't fall into the typical tropes of good guys and bad guys, but will instead use their story and creativity to persuade the reader that their side is the antagonist or protagonist.
