The short sword named 'Fortitude' is one of the Seven Holy Blades. Blades crafted in response to the emergence of the Seven Blades of Sin. It is said to have once been wielded by a Power, an angel of God, with devout fervor and belief in his apostolic rule. During the 'Great War' between angels and demons, the blades were lost to the mortal realm. They seek their true champions and the gemstones in the pommels shine when the true heir holds the blade. They are actively present in the galaxy - working both good and evil - agents of change in a galaxy that has since forgotten their old beliefs.

The blade Fortitude came into possession of the Krath Priest Braecen upon his induction into the Vardor patriarchy when he took the name Isradia from his Master, Jonaleth Isradia. The Dark Adept challenged the young man to seek out a single item in his vault that spoke to him. The Anzat was surprised to find that Fortitude called out to the Dark Jedi. He had believed the angelic blade to be both a myth and unlikely ally in his family's quest to rule. Little did Jonaleth know that the blade had chosen Braecen to unseat his hierarchy and create the smallest flame of hope within Clan Exar Kun's iron rule of the Brotherhood during the age of Grand Master Chi Long. Fortitude would serve the light, but from the hand of a Dark Sider.
