Pravus and Mav have both said that a member who joins through knowing someone is better than a random join from nowhere. We believe in this idea. The purpose of this competition is to recruit people from OUTSIDE THE DJB (it is against the Covenant to recruit from other Clans, and for good reason).

But this is not only based off of recruiting members, but how far they get promoted. Because for every member you recruit, you get additional points for how far they are promoted. You get points for every member you recruit, not just for a single recruited member.

Novitiate 1 (recruited) - 1 point

Novitiate 2 - 2 points

Novitiate 3 - 3 points

Novitiate 4 - 4 points

Journeyman 1 - 5 points

Journeyman 2 - 6 points

For example, Joe recruits Samson and Ashique. Ashique gets to J1 and Samson gets to N2. Combined, Joe would get 18 points (15 from J1 and 3 from N2). Since it's impossible to achieve the rank of Journeyman 2 below one month, the points stop there.

The person with the most points wins. Consul Elincia and Dek Ironius II with be supervising the competition for accuracy.

I want to remind people NOT to recruit from Clans and NOT to make clones. Both are against the Covenant and you will lose your rewards gained and also be set back from gaining other rewards in the future.
