The Great Jedi War of 2017 is coming!

In an effort to help boost team spirit and preparedness for the GJW, as well as to have some fun working in a solo and team environment, we offer you this pre-game competition!

For the next week, we will be having Telegram trivia events multiple times during the day and night, as well as evening "drinking game fun" events on the weekend of Friday, October 6th through Sunday, October 8th. Members are not encouraged to "drink" during these events (especially underage members), but obviously, legal aged adults can use their best judgment.

Trivia event participation will earn one (1) Tailgating Point per individual, while First Place trivia winner will receive a bonus of three (3) Tailgating Points, and Second Place trivia entrant will receive a bonus of one (1) Tailgating Point. Legion of the Scholar (LS) awards will be given to Trivia winner and second place, in addition to Tailgating Points that accrue for the entire event.

"Drinking Game" events played each night of the weekend of Friday, October 6th through Sunday, October 8th will earn one (1) Tailgating Point for participation each night per individual. "Drinking Game" events will generally be assigned as friendly "you just have to be there" events. Telegram, Skype, and other acceptable Brotherhood communication platforms will be used for the events. A total of three (3) Tailgating Points for participation can be accrued (one [1] per night), with a bonus two (2) Tailgating Points for persons who attend all three "Drinking Game" night (Friday, Saturday and Sunday night).

At the end of the event, Tailgating Point totals will be evaluated. Crescents will be awarded for individuals who accrue the highest point totals for the entire Pre-Game event, with ties being split based on who attended the most events, followed by who scored the most First Place wins during trivia, and then followed (if needed) by who also gained the most total placements in trivia if such ties exist. Beyond that, any additional ties will be decided by the MAA being asked to flip a coin. The person with the highest point total will also be dubbed as the "Most Excellent Pre-Game Tailgater Of All Time For The Year Of 2017."

Note: This is a Tarentum-sponsored event, but this event will be considered open to all members of the Dark Brotherhood. For purposes of the Trivia and "Drinking Game" events, the Telegram channel will be Tarentum's channel as "home field/sponsor" of the event, and all Brotherhood members will be open to occupy our Telegram channel for the duration of the event.

Trivia events will be run multiple times throughout the day, and will be "timed" according to Pacific Time Zone (where I am located) for the purposes of scheduling each event. We will endeavor to have them run at 5-hour increments, utilizing 1000, 1500 and 2000 (Pacific Time) as the set event beginning times. Trivia events may be run by myself, or by other available personnel as needed.

Trivia questions will be pre-written to a Google Document for ease of access for whomever will be running each event. Trivia will be run each day of the entire competition. "Drinking Game" events will begin immediately after the 2000 Trivia event on the evenings of Friday, October 6th through Sunday, October 8th for each of "starting times" for this weekend.
