Everyone either loves or hates a good caroling, but mixing in a bit of Sithmas or Life Day cheer with those carols may make everyone love the tunes. Your role for this competition is to write a decent parody of most common day carols. You may take a classic song or even an obscure melody as your base. The key is to make it original while staying true to a rhythm.
Expectations:
No minimum or maximum word count, as most songs are less than 250 words
Remember to cite the song used for frame of reference on what you’ve altered to fit Star Wars if the song in question is not an original carol
Submissions should be in PDF, Word doc, or the text-box. Google Doc links will not be accepted.
Entries will be judged based on how well the lyrics are written, incorporating Sithmas/Life Day traditions and Star Wars-based themes/items. It’s helpful if there is a clear rhythm or rhyming scheme to your entry.
