Everyone either loves or hates a good caroling, but mixing in a bit of Sithmas or Life Day cheer with those carols may make everyone love the tunes. Your role for this competition is to write a decent parody of most common day carols. You may take a classic song or even an obscure melody as your base. The key is to make it original while staying true to a rhythm.

Expectations:

• No minimum or maximum word count, as most songs are less than 250 words

• Remember to cite the song used for frame of reference on what you’ve altered to fit Star Wars if the song in question is not an original carol

• Submissions should be in PDF, Word doc, or the text-box. Google Doc links will not be accepted.

• Entries will be judged based on how well the lyrics are written, incorporating Sithmas/Life Day traditions and Star Wars-based themes/items. It’s helpful if there is a clear rhythm or rhyming scheme to your entry.
