2018 is a new year, not only for your character but also for you, as a writer. During this year long competition, that will hold a fiction comp every month and span for the entire month, you will have the opportunity to flesh out your character like never before. This could be anything from how they react to certain situations leading up to a Clan or DJB event, how they react/deal/cope after such events, fleshing out those cool NPC's you made char sheets for but don't really have a story for yet (on paper at least), or building/fleshing out your ALT.

For all intents and purposes, view this comp as a serious way to create character canon where we explore your character and follow their achievements, failures, hopes and dreams throughout this year!

How they will be graded: Grading will be focused heavily on Story and all other aspects of grading will be based on the Fiction Rubric.

The top three scorers in terms of total placements across all the competitions will be awarded crescents for their time and effort for this parent comp. In the unlikely event of a tie between the total placement points of two individuals, ties will be resolved through comparing the number of entries for each member. If this is still a tie, I will flip a coin and let fate decide.
