Welcome to the Inaugural Season of the Brotherhood Gaming League: Heroes of the Storm!

This round will consist of a Group Stage and a Knock-Out Stage. In the group phase, all members who sign up will be placed into groups (size and number dependent on sign-ups) selected at random. Groups will have a minimum of 4 members each. Sign-ups must be in by February 10th. The group stage will begin on February 12th. The group stage will last until February 28th. Each member will play every other member in their group twice (back-to-back or different times are acceptable).

Each match will be reported with screenshots to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] and [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. At the conclusion of the group stage the members who placed 1st or 2nd (and 3rd, if 20-31 sign up) in each group will advance to the bracket phase. Ties will be broken by Head-to Head record between tied members and then by total time in wins. (Faster wins place higher).

In the Group Stage, all battles will take place on Braxis Holdout. All teams will have 4 Elite AIs. All AIs will be the following Heroes:

Warrior - Artanis

Melee Assassin - Zeratul

Ranged Assassin - Hanzo

Support - Malfurion

Specialist - Azmodan

Whatever Hero the player chooses must replace the AI of that specific niche. For example, a player chooses Jaina as their Hero. Jaina is a Ranged Assassin and therefore must replace Hanzo and play with the other four chosen AIs. This rule will carry over into the Knock-Out Stage. (For this rule, Varian will be considered a Warrior).

In the Knock-Out Stage, the first round of the bracket will feature 1st place teams playing against a random 2nd place team from a different group (or 2nd place teams playing against a random 3rd place team from a different group with all 1st place teams receiving byes for the first round of the knock-out stage). The seeding of those match-ups will be randomized. The brackets will remain fixed up until the end of the bracket tournament. Each match will be one map chosen by the organizer prior to the round starting.
