Chapter II: In the Trenches

"With their combined efforts Drayen's troops and the members of Taldryan were able to stop Vishes attacks on Chyron, but neither were able to unravel his true identity nor his whereabouts and now the terrorist has attacked a research facility owned by Kagu Shi, a local businessman who recently became an asset to Taldryan’s Research and Intelligence division within the Caelus-system.

The situation is tense with the terrorist and his followers having now barricaded themselves deeply within the facility, ready to detonate bombs at any times while the local authorities remain unknowing of the situation.

At the request of Shi, the members of Taldryan set up a plan to retake the facility to ensure the future assistance of the businessman ..."

Hello Taldryan and welcome to the second chapter of the Taldryan Crusade. Goal of the Crusade is to increase Taldryan's influence into the leaders of the Caelus Cartel. Though we aided the local authorities during the attacks on Chyron, our motives are still met with uncertainty by them. However as we try to make ourselves a name, Vishes has taken over a top secret complex run by an associate of House Ektrosis and now threatens to detonate a bomb within the complex. Fearing the explosion might cause a fatal chain reaction that would heavily impact the stability of the moon, this associate, Kagu Shi, has requested our support by bringing down the terrorists before they can detonate their bomb. While the ektrosian Quaestor, Justinios Drake, has taken the call, offering the Clan's assistance by sending his best people to support Kagu Shi, the Consul insists to include the local authorities in the attempt to free the facility.

This chapter will feature three (3) single competitions granting 3rd (4th on the flash-games) level Crescents for each single event and another 3rd level Crescents for the overall champions of the chapter.

This chapter will run for about 3 weeks and like in the previous chapter, where possible, the winning entries will be made canon for the Clan's fictional development.

Awards and Grading

Second Level Crescents to the overall Top 3 Participants are up for grab for this chapter. To determine this, I will apply the following scoring system:

• Crescent with Amethyst Star: 4 Points
• Crescent with Sapphire Star: 3 Points
• Crescent with Emerald Star: 2 Points
• Crescent with Topaz Star: 1 Point

In case of a tie in the overall scoring, the member with the higher participation ratio will be granted the higher placement.

NOTE: Do not suscribe to this competition as I will add any participating member of Chapter 2 manually for overall placement.
