Welcome to the 2018 NFL Draft in Arlington, TX. We've seen mock drafts from experts for the past few months. finally, the offseason is coming to the climax, the draft. This is the time of year, every team can be hopeful about their team look forward to next season. I felt the DJB needed to get in on this feeling.
Using any means, Create your own mock draft for the first round. You can create one based on your own opinions or those of experts, but points will be earned based on most accurate predictions of where prospects will go.
I strongly suggest either waiting until at least 2 days before the draft to finalize and submit your mock draft to account for any trades that may happen.
RULES:
100 Points - 100 points will be awarded to a correct pick EXAMPLE: If you predict QB Luke Falk will be the 1st pick of the draft and he is picked first, you will receive 100 points
50 Points - 50 points will be awarded if you are one spot off on where a prospect is taken. EXAMPLE: If you predict that QB Luke Falk will be taken 5th overall and he is taken either 4th or 6th, then you will receive 50 points.
20 Points- 20 points will be awarded if you are 2 spots off on where a prospect is taken. EXAMPLE: If you predict that QB Luke Falk will be taken 3rd overall but he is taken 1st or 5th, You will receive 20 points
10 Points- 10 points will be awarded for each prospect you predict that is taken in the first round. EXAMPLE: If you predict QB Luke Falk will be taken anywhere in the first round and he is not picked, you will receive 0 points. If he is taken in the 1st, no matter how off you were, you will receive 10 points.
Trades: If a team trades up/down during the draft, Your picks will remain the same. You may try to predict draft day trades by placing players in spots where you expect a team to trade up for or you may stick with the draft order prior to the draft. EXAMPLE: If you predict that a team will trade up to the #4 pick for QB Luke Falk, you may place Luke Falk here or you may predict what the current holder of the #4 pick will pick. a point system will apply the same, even if you guess a trade incorrectly.
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
You may type out your mock draft on a document or in the textbox and submit it that way or you may take a screenshot of a mock draft site. either will be accepted. Be sure all picks are visible if you submit by screenshot and if necessary, you may write non-visible picks in the textbox.
NFL.com's Predict the Pick is a good place to create your mock draft. No account is necessary. Links will not work, so the mock will have to be a screenshot: https://predictpick.nfl.com/
