Four years ago, I hosted an event in honor of a film involving a certain Mr. Pool. Well, he's got another movie coming out and I thought I'd give the event another go. You see, Mr. Pool, is known for many things, but one thing in particular stands out about his stories. Mr. Pool has a tendency to break what is known as the "fourth wall" and speak directly to the audience. In honor of Mr. Pool, this fiction event seeks to play on that unique narrative style.
Thus, please compose a fiction of at least 500 words that involves your character trying to protect someone from someone at least as powerful as your character. Grading will follow the official Voice rubric. The Creativity portion of the grade, however, will be based heavily on your use of the distinct narritive style of our favorite red and black spandex wearing super"hero" (i,e. fourth wall breaks among other things). Of course, due to the narritive style in question, realism will be stretched somewhat to accomodate.
