Competition: From a Certain Point of View...
In our world, history is typically told through the words of the victor. This is no different in the Star Wars Universe. In this competition, it is your job to create two versions of the same story: one from the winners, and one from the losers. Submissions must be at least 500 words (total, not per story), and may be submitted in .doc or using the textual submission box below.
Grading will be done as a modified Fiction Grading rubric with scoring as follows. Story-40%, Realism-25%, Creativity-20%, Grammer and Continuity-15%
Story takes the story aspect from the fiction grading rubric and divides it between the two different viewpoints. Points will be deducted from the story category if sections of the two stories are contradictory. Grammar is any spelling or punctuation errors. Creativity is the originality of the story. (For example, The Force Awakens would score lower here if compared to “A New Hope” because it so closely mirrors the movie. However, setting your story in any canon story or timeline or referencing such is acceptable, such as the Ashoka novel.) Realism is how characters abilities are portrayed in the story. For example, a novice lifting a star fighter is not very realistic.
