For many people, strife brings with it a great deal of stress, but there are small moments where not much is going on and games rule the day. Recently, Kiastians and Odanites have found a new way to spend their free time and take some time to laugh. You’ve been invited to play.

Game Setup

Join the fun as we all play the Azala Youtube Game, testing your knowledge of Youtube videos and generating some laughs along the way. Each game has 6 rounds, where each round shows one video. You will prompted for an answer, which can be found by viewing the content of the video itself. The faster you type the answer the more points you score. In the event of a tie game, defined as more than one person with the same winning score, a playoff round will be played between the first place people who tied. This playoff round will consist of starting a new game, where a final winner is chosen by the first person to break the tie as measured by number of points. For each game won, the winner will receive one point. Games will be played in sessions, where a session lasts for one hour.

Details & Rules

• All gaming sessions will be played on Saturdays and Sundays, with times announced at least 48 hours in advance. Every attempt will be made to accommodate players in the varying time zones, with at least one playing session per time zone group.
• Game links will be shared in Odan-Urr main chat, Hoth chat, and Shan chat.
• All games will start promptly at the start time, assuming at least 2 players (not including the organizer). There will be no waiting for any stragglers so arrive early.
• You can not share answers with others if they can’t get it themselves.
• If there are any rounds where a video will not play due to region restrictions, the game will still go on. These occur very rarely but if it does happen you can guess as much as you’d like.
• Once a game starts, it can not be paused.

Submission

Manual Submission will be used, where the organizer will keep track of attendees, their wins, and their points earned for games played for this event.

Grading

This will be based on number of won games, with ties broken by total points earned over the games played for this competition.

This competition is worth a relatively low proportion of placement points. Cumulatively, the placements in this competition are worth 5% of placement points.
