Scenario 1: You have finally bought your first ship and are preparing to take your first trip in it.You’re aware of the dangers that lurk in the void of space but can’t wait to get out there alone for the first time. This trip can be a simple joyride or have some mission behind it.

Scenario 2 : You have been saving seeming forever and finally have enough money to buy your first ship. With the transaction complete, you are finally free to travel the galaxy as you please. Write a fiction describing your first ship.

Write a story of at least 500 words detailing your first trip to space OR of your character’s first spaceship. Valid submissions accepted in .pdf, .doc or .docx formats. Please do not submit via the Submission text box, but upload a file instead.

All competitions will be graded according to the Voice Fiction Rubric and valid submissions will be awarded Clusters of Ice as per Voice guidelines.
