Create a flag for Scholae Palatinae. Any color combination, emblems, and shapes used are up to you. However, use of any symbols currently flown on various national flags is strictly prohibited, with the exception of basic shapes such as stars, circles, and rectangles (stripes are included with rectangles). The Nordic Cross and any other should also be omitted from your submissions, as it is a religious symbol which does not exist within the Star Wars universe, but given an acceptable reasoning for their inclusion via the text submission box, will be permitted. The only other restriction is that submissions may not be the clan logo, past or present, in any color on a solid field of any color. (Note that this does not exclude the logo from being used within the design)

Tips for successful flag design:

1.Keep It Simple. The flag should be so simple that a child can draw it from memory…

2.Use Meaningful Symbolism. ...

3.Use 2 or 3 Basic Colors. ...

4.No Lettering or Seals. ...

5.Be Distinctive or Be Related.

*note that there are exceptions to every rule, and these are merely guidelines for successful flag designs. In addition to the clusters and crescents awarded from this competition, all submissions, regardless of placement within this competition, will be sent to the Empress of Scholae Palatinae for review and possible usage for the clan.
