Your character has been tasked with stealing a ship to add to the Qel-Droman fleet. Unfortunately, the Dawn Conclave has plans to steal the same ship. Choose from one of the following prompts and write a fiction detailing how your character achieves their goal.

• The Sneaky Way: Your intel has provided you with all of the information you need. You know exactly when and where the Dawn Conclave is going to strike. But why fight them? Wouldn’t it be far more satisfying to make them go home empty-handed? Write a story about stealing the ship using stealth and subterfuge.

• The Direct Approach: The only good enemy is a dead enemy. Write a fiction that involves you character confronting the Dawn Conclave operatives. How does the fight turn out?

• Alternative Approach: There’s more than one way to steal a ship. If neither of the previous prompts appeal, write a fiction regarding what alternative means your character uses to steal the ship.

The fiction should be a minimum of 500 words, with no maximum, and should be in .doc or .pdf format. The entries will be graded using the Voice Fiction Rubric. All entries will receive Clusters of Ice, and the top three placements will received Fourth Level Crescents.

Additionally, each entry will receive 1 participation point toward the container competition, and the top three placements will received additional bonus points, as follows:

• 1st place: 3 participation points
• 2nd place: 2 participation points
• 3rd place: 1 participation point
