In spite of your best efforts, you've just stumbled into what might be a situation calculated perfectly by fate itself to ensure that none of your strengths will be of use. In no less than 500 words, write a fiction describing what this situation might look like for your character, and how they would react if it came to pass.

• All submissions will be graded in accordance with the Fiction Grading Rubric
• The top three placements will receive Second Level Crescents, and all participants will receive Clusters of Ice based on word count.
