In honor of the Episode IX trailer, and it's hinting at the long-awaited return of His Imperial Majesty, I bring you "Empire Day"!

Clan Scholae Palatinae's most beloved of holidays, Empire Day, has come around once more! Festivities and celebrations abound within the Imperial Clan! It is a day of joy for all who swear allegiance to the ideals of the Galactic Empire and its legacy!

But not all see it as a day to kick back and relax. Indeed, seditionist forces are now at work within our borders! Rebels and terrorist, who imperial intelligence suspects are receiving backing from the Meraxis, are plotting an attack on a major Imperial garrison, write in the midst of the celebrations!

In 500 words or more, write a story detailing how your character is made aware of the coming attack, and how they go about trying to prevent it. This can also be used to detail your characters relationship to and views on their Clan. Are you some kind of patriot, just using it as a road to power or wealth, or somewhere in between?
