Intelligence gathering is vital to any plan, and to outwit the Collective the Dark Brotherhood must reconnoiter the Severian Principate and understand its inner workings. In an effort to achieve the Grand Master's goals, the Inquisitorius, Shroud Syndicate, and the Arx Capital Exchange have despatched agents into Principate territory to gather as much information as they can.

The Inquisitorius has despatched agents into Principate territory to gather as much information as they can on their military strength.

Arx Capital Exchange has despatched diplomats into Principate territory to gather as much information as they can on their political system and negotiate trade deals with merchant consortiums in the region.

The Shroud Syndicate has despatched smugglers and mercenaries into Principate territory to gather as much information as they can on the black market and the criminal underworld, while earning a credit or two on the side.

Task

You are tasked with creating a report on the Severian Principate from the point of view of Arx Capital Exchange's Diplomacy, the Inquisitorius' Reconnaissance, or the Shroud Syndicate's Black Market Dealings.

This technical writing-based report must have at least one of the aspects or elements of the Severian Principate listed below, but you may write about them all as well. Your choice.

Images are not required but allowed. Please cite your sources when including images.

Your report should cover:

Reconnaissance

1. Details on the status of the Principate military
2. Details on locations of military bases
3. Details on prominent figures within the Principate's military ranks

Diplomacy

1. Details on potential commodities (example: weapons, starships, rare crystals, etc.)
2. Details on possible locations of shipyards in Principate space
3. Details on prominent figures within the political structures of the Principate

Black Market Dealings

1. Details on the status of the black market
2. Details on plausible underworld bases in Principate space
3. Details on prominent figures related to the black market and criminal underground

Participants are encouraged to use the Severian Principate Wiki for reference to create their report.

How to submit

Since these reports will be used to potentially on the Severian Principate Wiki, please keep this in mind when creating your entries. You are not required to use wiki coding, but it will not hurt your entry either way. For more information, check out the Wiki cheatsheet for formatting ideas.

• Participants will submit entries in either .pdf, .doc, or .txt file format.
• Participants can optionally submit entries in the text-field utilizing Markdown formatting.

Grading

• Entries will be graded on completion, syntax, originality, and the quality of the writing used to create an interesting and well thought out documentation.
