The Collective has used their influence over the Caelus Patrol Fleet to land a strike force on the outskirts of the Taldryan Sector. While the Taldryan Army prepares to defend the Clan headquarters, the Taldryan Summit has tasked you with finding and assassinating the leaders of the Collective strike force.

Members will write a minimum of 500 words describing how one of your characters (main, alt, or NPC) battles against one of the following two Collective characters: Lon Osul or Rodsu Ijaaz. The match-up is intended to be one-on-one; other characters and/or NPCs may be present and involved in fighting nearby (such as preventing other Collective forces from interfering), but are not allowed to contribute directly to the battle between your chosen character and their foe. Loadout details for the two Collective NPCs are included on the character sheets linked above. Note: For the purposes of this competition, you are not required to kill the Collective NPC in your story!

Format: Fiction (minimum 500 words, in .doc, .docx, or .pdf format, via a GDocs link, or through the text box below). Your submission must include a snapshot of the character who's participating in combat.

Grading: Grading for this competition will follow the official VOICE Fiction Grading Rubric. with extra emphasis on adherence to Character Sheets.

The top three scores in this event will be awarded second-level Crescents, and participants will be awarded Clusters of Ice according to the policies listed on that award's Wiki page. In addition to Crescents and Clusters, participation in this event will contribute points to the member's overall score for the Unsteady Ground event as follows:
