It’s time to throw down with your wits, rhythm and rhyme in an epic lyric battle to prove your superiority as an operative of the Shadow Academy Society.

Here’s the rules:

• Choose one worthy opponent. Choose wisely, as you’ll be graded as a team for the overall best performance! Your lyric battle must take place on Discourse on a thread labeled [Shadow Feast] PARTICIPANT NAME 1 (PIN) v. PARTICIPANT NAME 2 (PIN).

• Each person in a pair must make a minimum of two posts, each containing three stanzas (total of six stanzas). You may continue your lyric battle beyond the minimum for as long as you like, so long as you alternate between participants for each post.

• Your lyrics don’t have to rhyme (you’ll get kudos if they do), but they must contain a recognizable rhythm.

• You can choose to either praise your own achievements or discredit your partner, but ensure you agree with your partner on any boundaries before you begin.

Lyric battles will be judged based on overall lyrical flow, and - above all - comedy!

You will receive 1 point for participation in this competition. The top three teams will earn additional 5, 4 and 3 point(s) respectively.
