Competition: It's in the Cards

Finished
It's in the Cards

As House Marka Ragnos settles in to Tarthos, there are certain places in the capital city of Kar Alabrek and surrounding areas that are still a complete mess after the Collective occupation. Your job is to adequately report your visual assessment to the House and Clan Summits.

You will do so using a depiction of a single Magic the Gathering card. Using your own deck or a resource like Card Kingdom, upload a card image that best describes what your character sees after surveying Tarthos. The card name, image, and/or flavor text (usually in italics at the bottom of the card) are the key pieces of information you should use. An example is below.

If you gather the image from an online resource, please specify the location in the submission notes for any copyright issues.

Grading will be based on how well the card tells a story of what you see (again, given the name, image, and/or flavor text). The top 3 places will earn crescents and 1st place will win points in the parent competition.

Example: From Card Kingdom MTG search, Alpha edition version

The Sword of War and Peace

Assisting his brethren House, DarkHawk surveyed the streets of his former home. The Sword of War and Peace becomes the catalyst for change. War has broken out on Tarthos, the Collective has ravaged the city for over a year. The sword becomes the instrument to achieve the peace the city and the planet desperately desires. Bloodstains color the blade and its hilt, a reminder of the sacrifices made and the lives that have been taken. Through war, peace is the ultimate achievement. To remove the veil of darkness that has clouded our planet. The Sword of War and Peace delivers us our freedom.

For this graphic, I used the resource material supplied by competition organizer which can be found here at the link below.
