Something strange is happening in the jungles of the Qel-Droma base planet, Arconeae Primus. Weird sounds and lights of many different colors have been seen coming out from the deep jungle at all hours of both day and night. Quite frankly, it's disturbing my beauty sleep. Jedi of House Qel-Droma, I charge you with a Holy Quest sent down from the High and Mighty Rollmaster to go out there, investigate these occurences, and put a stop to them. Trust me, you don't want to deal with a Bograt running on 4 hours of sleep for a week.

This is a fiction competition. There are no length requirements, font requirements, or...well, really any requirements. It just has to be a work of fiction, and stay at least generally on-topic. You have two months to work on it.

Rather than go with a normal, boring 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rewards scheme, the entries will be judged in six categories:
Most Original, Most Entertaining, Most Humorous, Most Oddball, Most Mysterious, and Most Disturbing
A Crescent with Sapphire Star will be awarded to the winning fic in each of the categories, and a Dark Cross will be awarded for participation
