War takes its toll on everyone. It wears on the mind and the soul. So it is important to take time to relax when peace time finally comes.

Fortunately, we’re all taking some time to recharge at a resort on the island of Atolli. The resort boasts white sand beaches, copious amounts of alcohol, accommodating staff, top-quality gourmet restaurants and a wide variety of amenities. And, if that is not enough, the island is a short distance from Celeste, the wealthy and luxurious underwater city.

What is your character doing during this time of rest? Are they enjoying the amenities provided, or making their own fun? Are they hanging out with others, or enjoying some alone-time? Are they taking a side-trip to Celeste or perhaps going to investigate the ruins in the island jungles and the S.I.M.A.S.S. team working there?

Write a vacation fiction! It should be at least 500 words long and feature either your main or alt character. Valid submissions accepted in .pdf, .doc and .docx formats. The fictions will be graded following the Voice Fiction Grading Rubric and winning entries will be awarded Third Level Crescents and Clusters of Ice.

Participation and placement will also result in earning points toward the parent competition:

• 1st place will receive 3 points
  
• 2nd place will receive 2 points
  
• 3rd place will receive 1 points
  
• Participation will earn 1 point.
